Tonight we went to dinner with a friend that I haven’t seen in over 12 years.  We had a blast.  I loved his wife and his adorable 9-month old daughter.  They came to our house to visit for a while after dinner and the mochis had a blast playing with this new little baby that they’ve never seen before.  Big Mochi kept saying how cute she was and Baby Mochi was showing her how all her toys worked.  It’s funny when you’re young and single and don’t really think about what your life will look like 12 years later… married with kids in careers you never imagined with the cars and morgage payments.  So much responsibility compared to back then!  Who would have ever thought that we would ever become responsible for kids of our own when we couldn’t even decide where to have a meal back then?
