I took my mom and nephew to visit my grand-aunty in South Central LA, just down the street from USC off of Rodeo.  This would be Ro-dee-oh Road, not THE Ro-day-oh Drive where all the celebs shop.  Big difference.  Anyway, I got off the 110 by Exposition and noticed that they are building a metro rail between USC and the Colliseum/Natural History Museum, etc.  How cool is that?!  This will be HUGE!  For the school, the games, the downtown traffic in general out to the convention center.  And it’s going west down past La Brea and all that!  You go, LA!

The nephew and I had a grand old time with a cousin and her new puppy, and we played bocce ball in the back yard while the old people caught up.
