Long day today.  The entire household got up at 4 am, no doubt from G making so much noise as he was getting ready for work.  No one seemed to notice the time except me and my grumpiness.

C&K are helping to run Vacation Bible School for their church up in Santa Clarita so I signed up Big Mochi and my nephew (he starts tomorrow).  I packed up the mochis and we headed up to their valley.  While Big Mochi was at VBS making cool crafts, listening to bible stories and learning new cool dances, Baby Mochi and I sought shelter indoors at a few nearby mini-malls keeping out of the 98-degree heat.  $100+ later (damn you, Target!) we met up with everyone, had lunch and got some Robek’s smoothies.  While we all napped for hours, mom and my nephew flew in from Hawaii and we had a late dinner at Black Angus.  I left Big Mochi and my nephew with C&K for the whole week and took mom and Baby Mochi home.  I fear Baby Mochi will give mom a hard time tomorrow due to lack of sleep and no one to play with.
